The overarching claim, that Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction, may have the weight of probability behind it, but it has yet to be backed by proof shared with the public.

Karen... Saddam said the same thing back in 1994-95.. That he didn't have anymore WMDs...

But upon the defection of several key individuals involved in developing and storing these weapons, it was proven that he was LYING...

And when the UNSCOM inspectors left in 1998, by THEIR OWN REPORT, thousands of tonnes of chemicals and biological agents were yet to be properly accounted for...

Saddam should have been overthrown back then, as a repercussion for his having deliberately lied to the UN and the world. But he wasn't..

So are you going to believe him now??

If so... One has to wonder what color the sky is in your world... No offense.. But trying to claim that the US is just making up these charges denies the history of Saddam's duplicity surrounding the issue of WMDs..

There will be proof when we can have REAL INSPECTIONS, and be able to interview Iraqi weapons producers outside of Iraq where they and their families cannot be intimidated by Saddam's regime.
