"Rep. Hyde could have been removed from Congress based upon his direct violation of his oath of office and his order that the record be purged. " It would be productive to make an example of Rep. Hyde or any one of a number of other Congressmen who egregiously violate their oath of office. A televised hearing on exactly who these clowns work for and under exactly what legal structure would benefit the democracy greatly.
