Briefing: 14:59 ET KERX Unusual Volume -- Keryx Biopharma (1.45 +0.15) Micro-cap name ($29 mln) has lifted 11.5% today on volume of 188K, or 6x avg daily turnover. Advance comes on news out this morning that genomics co has replaced both its CEO and Chairman. Taking over the posts is Michael S. Weiss, who "successfully engineered the turnaround" of Genta, a company "which then had a market capitalization of less than $5 million, and which today boasts a market capitalization in excess of $600 million."
