Way too much. :)

$3249 for the A31p model 2653R5U. With an extra 256M RAM and auto/airline adapter, the total came to $3598.

Then another ~$700 to PC Universe for a second 60GB hard drive, UltraBay 2000 hard drive adapter, UltraBay 2000 2'nd battery, and 2-year IBM onsite warranty.

I came across some really good prices at college bookstores, though. How about $2100 for the 2653R5U? It pays to take a class, just to get it at this price. I wish I'd known sooner, I certainly would have done that. :)
