I have a dim memory of Leroi Jones. Poets and coffee houses were big back in the sixties. I don't know that laying gold leaf on him is such a good idea. It's OK for him to attack the establishment, but should the establishment pay him to do it? Poems and poets are what they are. I don't recall an amendment for separation of poet and state, but perhaps it is not a bad idea. I really must read that poem. Maybe by looking at the obverse I can learn something. I'm glad you got me cooking again. I came up with a new one on my slippery walk home in the snow. In a bit, I'll see what you think.
