i'm glad he's winning.

Me too.

It has a lot of implications but here are the ones that I'm
looking at.

It knocks Tampa Bay out of the race for Home Field
Advantage Throughout the Playoffs.

Why is this important?

Because my 2nd favorite team, The Green Bay Packers have a
tough time winning down in Tampa, but even more so, the
Bucs have a very difficult time playing in Lambeau's artic
air. As do most other teams.

The only team ahead of Green Bay in this race is the Eagles.

The Eagles come to Giants Stadium to play my favorite team.
This game means a lot for the Giants.
It's a playoff game in itself, sorta. If the Giants lose
they do not make the playoffs.
Should they beat the Eagles and the Packers beat the Jets,
then Green Bay gets Home field advantage throughout the
playoffs. That gives them a good shot at going to the
Super Bowl.

By adding these wild card spots, it has really helped to
make the football season very exciting.
The last two weeks become virtual playoff games.

Luckily the Giants won theirs.
Altie's Patriots did not fare as well. The Jets may have
knocked them out of contention.

If the Jets win and Miami loses, the Jets miraculously win
the AFC East.

Go figure.

Polvies Broncos pretty much knocked themselves out of the
race with their loss to the Raiders.

The Cowboy fans haven't had much to cheer about this year
until this past week. A news story was confirmed that Bill
Parcells may coach there next year.
Personally I don't see how he could. He could not
tollerate the Owner in New England. I don't know how he
will ever handle Jerry Jones.
Sounds like the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins are
interested in talking to Parcells before he signs with
anyone. I'd sure like to see him coach once again.
