Pakis: US Visa is a privilege, not a right--Stay home
Hello Ratan:
Sorry, home news was bad.
--------------------------------------------------------------
India is also a quasi-muslim country (140 million muslims) in terms of population. It still retains the privileges. But don't be sure, a particular person from India may be denied US Visa. What is so bad about finger-pointing, finger-printing and taking mug shots? One of these days, things may get so bad that all undesirables will be implanted microscopic ID chips on the shoulders. They will be read and registered by EZY pass readers and followed through the land. JPR

It is now official. Pakistan nationals visiting the United States must register with the Immigration and Naturalization Services. They will also be finger-printed and photographed.
On the face of it, every country has the sovereign right to frame its own laws and regulate visitors. But this new regulation is terrorism-specific and only those countries have been targeted whose nationals are considered high risks. It so happens that all the selective countries happen to be Muslim countries, with the exception of North Korea. Just to show that the INS is being even-handed, Saudi Arabia too is included in the list. End
