Conservatives really can't tolerate freedom of speech......too messy and confusing for you, huh? Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can't condemn what someone else says (just the opposite in fact), if it did then Lott would be majority leader when the next congress starts up. Excuse me......where did you get your definition of freedom of speech? Please read the Sup. CT rulings regarding freedom of speech. Criticizing someone else's comments is perfectly legal under freedom of speech. That includes criticizing comments by the President of the US. BTW it wasn't a violation of the freedom of speech that hung Lott; its the fact that racists are considered undesirable in the 21st century and the GOP does not want to turn off people of color. ted
