Cluck cluck BWAAK. Reminds me of a time at a goose picking place near Rend Lake. The hunters would bring their geese in to be picked for $3.50 and the owner provided free beer and small pieces of fried "deer" while they waited. I still had some coffee and a sandwich so I settled back to watch. Give a bunch of guys free beer and they get stupid. Each goose that was brought in was hung on a scale. All the guys tossed a buck into a bucket and guessed the weight. Out of 30 drunken idiots I was the only one who noticed the owner was telling the weight to his sons while the money hit the bucket. One or the other son would hit about 50% of the time. Hell, they were even making change for the suckers. 60 geese, win 30 - $30 pots (that's $900 Rudi) and you can afford to give away beer. One of the sons told me, when I said it didn't look like deer they were cooking, that they drove the roads each morning looking for road kill for the hides and had started chunking the meat for the hunter's feed.
