Dear Thomas,

NEOM is a small ENRON and I hope management of this sort
of companies will be held accountable.

In 2000 they reported a lot of news, without any real income.
I had a small amount of shares, but I followed the company
for the technology.

I read their reports and there was a lot of mismanagement.
In Feb. 2001 I sold the few shares, after they reported
a big "multi-year 100 million licensing deal". In that quarter
this deal resulted in 7 million of income.

Digging into the statements, I found that the deal was with a company
they had done a share swap with. The income was fake.

I think KPMG did a good job making a straight statement
that this was a money loosing company without a future.

As an investor you have to make your own analysis,
but I have lost a lot of money on similar companies,
like Infospace.

I expected a legal framework to be in place, where there
was none.

Kind regards,
Pareto
