Yes, she does. But what we are saying is that hybrids are genetically changed also, just done "The old fashioned way." There is not much doubt about the Euro's reason for rejecting our GM grains. They can use it as an excuse to refuse to allow them to be imported there, thus protecting their Farmers.

As bad as our Farm protection is, and it is bad, the Euro's is much worse. They could cut the food bills of their citizens dramatically, but their small farmers would go out of business. Outside of their common market, the whole place is a "Protection Racket" run by Brussels. Long term, it makes them non competitive and lowers their standard of living.

Of course, the real Bastards in this story are the environmentalists!
