It seems to me that any company that is run by a competent manager will have higher profit with an increase in sales - whether 1.5% or 15%. Unless they were planning for a much higher level, and now are stuck with unsold inventory.

I don't know if the apparent addiction to higher revenues - and the use of flat revenue as an excuse for huge losses is a sign that the accounting is much more fraudulent than we suspect.

I mean if I tell my family that we're filing for bankruptcy because I only got a 1.5% increase in income, I think my wife will suspect that I am gambling, or maybe speculating in the stock market.

So either the writer of that story is a moron, or there is much more fraud to uncover.
