An alternate form of photodynamic therapy for Barrett's esophagus is very close to FDA approval. biz.yahoo.com One of the features (thus far) of the DUSA approach is the lack of strictures (scarring), avoiding the need for subsequent physical dilation of the espohagus. dusapharma.com Now that PDT is close to approval, will the medical/pharma community look upon DUSA's approach as the next step? This is essential for lining up a partner and for subsequent commercialization if successful. Stay tuned.
