NEW YORK, Dec 26 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on
Thursday it added $7.50 billion in temporary reserves to the
banking system through 7-day fixed system repurchase
agreements.
The Fed accepted the following collateral:
-- $3.250 billion in agencies, stop out 1.330 percent.
-- $4.250 billion in mortgage-backed, stop out 1.350
percent.
Earlier, the Fed added $5.0 billion in reserves through
28-day repurchase agreements.
Federal funds were trading at 1.250 percent, matching the
Fed's current target for the rate.
