Are you kidding? They run the "Green" Parties in Europe. The banning of DDT was the first major victory for these nuts back in the 70's. Rachael Carson had written "Silent Spring" which claimed that DDT was killing all the Birds. The Audubon annual Bird counts proved otherwise, but they were able to "Scare Tactic" this into a ban. DDT is the only effective killer of Mosquitos ever found. It is totally safe for people.

Since DDT has been banned, Malaria has vastly increased all over the world. It is especially high in 3rd World Countries, which is fine by the "Environmentalists." They think there are too many "Little Brown People" anyway, and this is a good way to decrease the numbers. That is why they don't care if their GM propaganda ends up with people starving in Africa.
