The big shift for silver is digital photography. I never would have believed how quickly and efficiently this technology would have developed, but in one big sweep the major consuming force for silver has begun to disappear. This will comprise all medical radiography as well; at one time just x-rays were a major source of demand for silver. It's still a beautiful and useful metal, but the digital imaging revolution is making it superfluous in many ways.

I have been a long-time silver bull, but I am fading away. incidentally, I got a digital camera for Christmas! I might give up and sell my PAAS tomorrow.
