AO MOSENERGO has launches a new boiler at TEZ-20 The boiler for AO MOSENERGO was developed by a Kharkov institute Energoprogress and a Taganrog plant Krasny Kotelschik. The replaced equipment will help to improve the reliability of the heating supply to the South-Western and Central districts of Moscow and electricity supply to the Moscow region. As a result of the reconstruction, the productivity of the power boiler has increased up to 500 t/h. It is a reliable and power saving unit with the automated control system. The old boiler was not designed to run on gas or fuel oil and was highly pollutant. The new equipment meets the environmental requirements. As a result, TEZ-20 will have lower nitrogen and sulphur oxide emissions, it will emit less sulphur acid and other hazardous components by burning fuel oil more effectively. The boiler installation started in the beginning of 2002. Thanks to good work organization and timely financing, it ended very soon, 4 months ahead of schedule. AO MOSENERGO has spent the total of 360 mln rubles to implement this project.
