| doribee88, Lorne gave you some good reasons, but there is another reason the U.S. is disliked. Even with the current iffy economy in the U.S., we have a much better life style than most of the world, have more daily freedom of how we live our lives, and have proven several times that we can win out, and recover from, extremely dire circumstances. IOW, there are many in this world that are just plain jealous of us, and it is, quite often, human nature for the have nots to hate the haves. I might add, that Canada is a good neighbor to the U.S., and for the most part is well off. They just don't flaunt it the way we do. |
