SGP -- my issues are well documented in discussions w/ Myth and others. company is a depleting asset and the multiple will continue to compress, IMO. i will target to cover (again) at $18.

PFE -- since they didn't destroy enough shareholder value with their last acquisition, they are doing it again, buying Pharmacia. will further compress return on capital, which will compress the multiple. plus likely revenue challenges to the hypertension drug, Norvasc, from both generics and a recent study which questioned its effectiveness vis-a-vis much cheaper alternatives.

LLY -- high expectations stock with a lot of value tied up in what admittedly looks like a good pipeline. a 'buy the rumor, sell the news' play (i.e. large and attractive pipeline already in the stock; what makes it go up now??)

GSK -- AIDS franchise IMO likely to slow, plus accounting that is IMO on the aggressive side. plus they're British <g>

MRK is the only one on your list that i have studied extensively and decided to leave alone. the rest i don't know a lot about but who knows maybe they'll end up on my list someday if i get around to them.

<<I thought you were busy running fighting the Debt Yetis with you Visa card from Capital One?>>

my most recent acquisition is an American Express "Blue" card. 0% and an insane credit limit. the folks at Coach, Raymond Weil, and FAO were quite pleased <g>

Cheers
