who will sit on the Palestinian side of the table?
Whoever Palestinians choose as their leader. Today it is Arafat. Sorry, but nobody on this planet has the luxury to choose who he is going to deal with, and Sharon is no exception. (exception: Bush & his "regime change" thing)
If they decide to keep demanding a unilateral Israeli withdrawal, lol, they are not likely to be happy with the results.
I am happy this makes you laugh. But it is no different than your demand that Palestinians unilaterally put down their arms (and bombs), with no plan, no intention from the Israeli side to give them a state of their own, AND ever-increasing settlements on their territory.
Sharon backs a Palestinian state
Do a Google. In the year 2002, he has made more declarations than I can remember against a Palestinian state. Wasn't it Likud, by the way, who passed a resolution in May 2002 that they would "never" agree to the creation of a Palestinian state? Put yourself in the Palestinians' shoes for one minute. Does this give you hope? |
