You can always find big negatives in any society, John. Every freedom comes with a unforeseen cost. The only thing I can do as an individual is make sure my contribution to society is consistent with my values. I don't have to support those things I find objectionable and I don't. I tend to counter ignorance with intelligence and patient teaching, not more ignorance.
