So explain to me in simplistic terms, why hundreds of muslims in the LA area are held in detention, because they followed the law, and showed up at the INS offices there, as requested.

Do you really believe that a terrorist/'bad apple in a crate', will go to the INS ? This thingammy is a farce to provide a false sense of security, IMO.
