I remember one Mardi Gras parade we went to on Fat Tuesday, the cops stopped the parade, and no one could figure out why...two cops pulled the driver off the tractor, and one cop drove the float! The driver was too drunk to drive. He was weaving all over the place! The cops merely sent the guy on his way with the cop driving the tractor...AW, New Orleans, you gotta love it! The people in the crowd were shouting, "Let him drive, he's okay!"...LOL They were serious!
