GW Bush BS'ing the nation again in today's radio address. Tells us the economy is back on track and strong again. Worst Christmas in 20 years meanwhile. Blames recessions on Clinton and 9-11 (what happens to the buck stops here and being acountable a year after 9-11 and two years after CLinton?). Tells us he's working hard on prescription drugs and other programs he's been dragged kicking and screaming into half-supporting. Tells us the War On Iraq is for "peace". Never mentions oil. Never mentions his trying to defeat campaign finance reform. Says he's holding executives accountable for fraud but meanwhile Kenny Boy Lay is free as a bird and none of the Texas energy cabal has been brought to justice yet. Says we're winning the war on terrorism but have to be patient. Yeah, what about Saudi Arabia? They refuse to touch the place and that's where the tangos were from. Bush is reading Spin Central's weekly speech today. 90% BS. Meanwhile there're wars and severe recessions all over the planet with no end in sight. And Bush seems to be gaining from more wars the better. Today's Wall Street talking heads predict another bad year with only a few upward blips if they cut dividend taxes (another debt-creating gift for the very wealthy primarily with no stimulus effect for consumers). And of course Bushies love the higher oil prices that are a continuing heavy tax on everyone of us with no major clean, alternate fuel programs in sight.
