Market caps during the last boom.

It may be useful to review how large the market caps of some juniors were during the 1996 boom, with gold at about US$400/oz.

When Francisco had only El Sauzal as a resource of what people thought would be 2.5 million ounces, their market cap was about C$300 million. Corriente had a market cap of about C$300 million with some big targets but little resource. Southwestern Gold hit a high of about C$28/share, but I don't know how many shares were out. I suspect about 10 million, which would give it a market cap of almost C$300 million.

Please add your own input or memories here.

It appears that C$300 million is a realistic target in a boom with a good property and promotion.
