Yes Lizzie ,

...just went thru the last set of storms up there in the Wine country the last several weeks on a 50 acre estate , and the flooding was already something to see back then . And I was without power for 3 days .( my kitty was safe and warm though!)

First set of storms knocked out all the power for 3 days, flooded many of the lowlands , the city of Sebastopol was completlely down without power . Then the next wave before this one was the "Alaskan Express" which left snow all over the valley floors and was freezing cold with much hail and sleet .

The Russian River is expected to go from 8ft to over 33ft (32ft is flood-stage) and Napa is going to be a mess. Quite a first year for me to try and move up there <G>

Every generator at every Home Depot and store from Willits down to San Francisco were sold out from the last storms !
but I have one now , hehe, and a big pile of dry wood and kindling )

Just have to weather it out ....I loves it !

;-)
