Very good point about QDEL's production problems. I too am concerned about the costs and troubles they're likely to experience moving their production to Mexico.

I believe "component shortages" do occur in many business sectors, but without knowing what components they were coming up short on, it's difficult determine if this is a real problem (then we have to ask if it's going to be chronic) or an attempt to put a positive spin on their losses.
