Oh puleeeze. Do you really think somebody out there was going to buy Auntie Jane a pullover but didn't "because the season was too short?"

Uh- yeah. Are you saying you are not aware that most "Christmas season buying"... is not exactly presents but instead just people going out in the cold weather to spend because its "the thing to do"? And in that context, for every day the season is short, that is lost revenue.

This is the same principal as the retail comparisons Walmart this year vs. last year on the day after thanksgiving. Apples to oranges since walmart has opened more stores. "Same store sales" is what you need to see a real trend. Same thing with holiday sales-it has to be the same number of days, with preferably, the same number of weekend days to make an accurate comparison of one season to another. For online I'm not sure the weekends matter as much. This is just my opinion I am mostly a tech investor though.

I'm happy with 30% gains and especially the higher online ASPs that accompany the 30%. I think the growth rate will expand though.
