The White House is terrified of John Kerry believe me.
If nothing else (and there is plenty) John Kerry has 750 million bucks AFTER campaign finance reform puts a stop (we hope) to the Bush-Enron type funding which enabled Bush to blow away McCain and out-spend Gore. Money counts for a lot and one 100 million check from Kerry will be more than Bush can raise in a year. Plus Kerry will have enormous support from individuals. Also Kerry folks love it when you attack his war record. he WANTS to make that as big an issue as possible. They KNOW and can PROVE Bush went AWOL.
