Boy are you full of it. "We", who is we? Those who disagree with most of Bush's policies yet support him out of patriotism? I was one of those people too until August. It's easy to be ahead when you're not running against anyone. Who was Bush running against in November? Saddam? Daschle? Please. Put a better man against Bush and he'll go down. He's got a lot to account for, mostly this terrible economy which he can no longer keep blaming on Clinton. Remember Bush Sr had 90% approval ratings when he attacked Kuwait. 90%, the highest ever. But it's the economy stupid. And dont tell me the majority of Americans will forgive four years of harsh recession. Not unless we're attacked again maybe. it didn't work for Bush Sr and it surely won't work for Bush Jr. And by the way Gore did win the popular vote and the election was stolen as I detailed earlier. So dont be so damn arrogant. Bush's approval ratings were way down before he started the Iraq War talk before the election. Back in July he was slipping fast. He was also slipping fast prior to 9-11. So keep running against Bin Lauden and Saddam and whoever's next. But you can't keep winning on boogey men. That said, if Bin lauden attacks again it will perhaps get Bush re-elected. So Bin Lauden is politically Bush's best friend.
