The big companies set up their "headquarters" in an office in Bermuda,for example, and have their revenues sent there. The company then pays income tax at Bermuda's very friendly rate generally saving companies even the size of Stanley Tools hundreds of millions.... Bermuda loves it, cause they keep their pristine island pristine and don't have to have any factories on the island to spoil the place. The tourist business can't support everything forever.... The Bermudians argue that we should be happy with this arrangement because they spend most of the tax money they receive in the States anyway.....
