Shiloh, Since last year members of this thread have been documenting how the activities of Pakistani, Iranian, Iraqi and Saudi Arabian government agencies have been assisting terrorists with money, information, training, visas, etc.

So Graham's statement to PBS was no big surprise.

Everyone who isn't deaf and blind knows there is Saudi support for Al Qaeda.

Pakistan's SIS is riddled with al Qaeda supporters. There are Pakistani terrorist oufits operating in the US.

Iraq has been helping out a variety of terrorists for years.

Same with Iran.

But it's the Saudi Wahabbists who have dumped hundreds of millions of dollars into building terrorist factories in the ME, Africa and South Asia. When super big bucks come out of an absolutist country to support something like al Qaeda, then it's policy that allows it: Family policy conveniently deniable as national policy. Of course someone official in that country helped these people out.

Not surprisingly, the US government doesn't want to talk about it much because (1) Saudi Arabia, the country, is supposed to be an ally and (2) the US government isn't clear about what to do about it directly, anyway, for the reason I mentioned in my previous post. There is no government, just a family.
