jttmab,

Re: One hole card that Iraq has is to release their entire disclosure statement to CNN. They've got nothing to lose by doing it.

Mighty Mezz beat me to the punchline. Die Tageszeitung has done a good job for the German reader regarding the duplicity and hypocrisy of the Bushies regarding Iraq's WOMD infrastructure and precursors. Not only were there 24 U.S. domiciled corporations acting strictly (and knowingly) illegally, but five separate U.S. government agencies, including the Dept. of Energy were also in violation of international treaties as they aided and abetted Saddam Hussein's efforts in the 1980's.

It's no wonder that George Bush signed Executive Order #13,233 to prevent FOIA disclosures about the malfeasance of the Reagan and Bush I maladministrations.

As far as CNN is concerned, we've taken to calling it the Corporate Nonsense Network. You can be just about 100% certain that if such information got into their hands, they would self censor and not publish or broadcast anything that didn't have an explicit Bush team stamp of approval. The current head of CNN is Roger Ailes, a notorious right wing operative who is more than happy to be a propaganda tool for the powers that be.

Cheerio! Ray
