rotfl ... a day into operation and you already defragment - man that's what I would call due-dilligence at its best.

Let the sucker spin, Jay - and get a mirror drive (or maybe a tiny LAN) to stand by bashfully in the background.

The important truth: after doing all the statistics and accumulating data and doing factor analysis (ie dumping factors that dont explain the variance) in our heads, what do we end up with? Correct, not just one single most important factor (whatever it is), but a bunch of them (make it five to fit on one hand). And maybe, possibly (give me a better candidate) Mq is battling for one of them. Interestingly

a) Q stands for bandwidth in audio (analog & digital)
b) jw thrashing not so long ago the happy noise on JDB porch ("its nothing but gold, you dodos, so shut up on politix") raised this same question / warning sign.

So (after this sermon) - what's the factors from my perspective that will run the show? well, lemme spill my guts (two hours of gym brought some juice back upstairs)

a) credit bubble in US , in its various outfits
b) unfinished business on the markets ("how low can they go")
c) account balance slash dollar vs ROW
c) war (aka oil aka rogues) as detonator

that should account for the 95% of the expected variance
