Faith-based opens the door for possible fraud as well as lawsuits from all directions. The main unanswerable question is who decides who gets the money and who doesn't and why? Will that judge be a political treatmeister or someone unbiased? And who will investigate each organization to make sure they're clean, legit and will not pocket the proceeds? And why is the "small government" GOP using tax-payer money now to fund religious institutions? I'm not even sure that's legal. It's certainly not fiscally conservative. This may just be a big political feint which they never expect to pass, just to please the religious right and tempt a few black ministers who are greedy or needy. The whole thing smells pretty fishy if you ask me.
