Bush says we have "eternal friendship" with Saudis. Why? They're a pretty loathsome group in many ways. They suck us dry due to our oil addiction. And besides paying for us to rescue Kuwait they haven't done anything of note that I know of except that the 9-11 hijackers are mostly Saudi and so is Bin lauden, whose father is a pal of Bush Sr.
