You participate on these thread at my pleasure.. You and I have argued in the past on some of these issues, but I'm not about to permit you to launch into anti-semitic (or anti-Arab, or Anti-Muslim) tirades... If Zionism (whatever that means nowadays) is going to die, then so be it..

Israel, whether you like it or not, is a democracy surrounded by non-democratic, totalitarian or authoritarian regimes. I find it far more worthwhile to defend a democracy, no matter where it's located, than a dictatorship... It wouldn't matter whether they were Zionist or not, IMO.. They are a democracy and for that reason alone, they must be supported.

As for the boycott of South Africa, that did little good.. The US was the only major nation to impose sanctions while the Europeans rushed into to fill the economic void.
