An orebody in gold these days is either rich in grade or at least one million ounces. I know of one that is one million ounces proven and up to 0.50 ounces/short ton grade. So far he cannot raise a sou. Needs 6 million to produce. Young Shannon may be one million ounces. To prove it will take about 5 to 7 million. Tough sledding getting that. Make a promo maybe.

YS is far, far from Red Lake. It is maybe 100 miles SW of Timmins in what is called the Swayze gold camp. Geology is somewhat like Timmins but it is a slightly earlier volcanic belt. It was explored lightly for base metal and gold in the 1960's. First reported on in the 1930's. There was one mine that ran in the area during the war west of there and it had fair gold. No action in that immediate area at all now.

Good fishing and skidooing in that area. A fair bit of new logging there in the last 5 years.
