More speculation Actually, this thread started by discussing Bush's record vs. Kerry's, and there it is quite easy to make a comparison: Bush got in to the Texas Guard because of political pull (he was only one point above a disqualification grade on the testing... and was behind several hundred better qualified applicants) and his 'fortunate son' status, then refused to take a REQUIRED physical (the first year that drug tests were included)... and, was suspended from flying... finishing out his service in a 'punishment' division after failing to show up at his assigned post. What a 'sterling' record!
