Thanks for the finger crossing. I hope the people can afford to buy my house because they like it, but I have my doubts.

Would you say that Springsteen's "The Rising" is a political piece? I believe that it is. I can listen to it all day.

I guess I'm comfortable with art that is explicitly political or has an explicit point of view. One can accept or reject the point of view without having to guess. I am uncomfortable with artists, especially actors and show business people, taking political positions without having first earned their political credentials like Ronald Reagan, Fred Thompson, and Charlton Heston did.

I'd like to enjoy Wagner, for example, without being reminded that he was probably an antisemite and that Hitler used his music to rile up the populace.
