Dave, I only have a very fuzzy recollection about the general discussion that occurred with several posters. So I don't know what specifically our words were about, I guessed and may be wrong.

Dave, to me it's about the assertiveness one uses when one make his conclusions known. As the reservations about the conclusions decrease, the logic and rational must increase.

I don't recall the details. Mr. Spencer has reams of data and still only states it looks this way. I donot have enough first hand knowledge to speak conclusively about Islam.

As to your observation about a central figure, depending on what he said and if the arguments were credible, many in the world could sleep better at night.
