nah, I think the SK's are scared to death at the prospect of having to incorporate a large, dirt-poor population. They look at how much West Germany had to pump into East Germany, and they blanch at the thought of having to do even more than that themselves. So they want a gradual soft landing to this situation, followed by gradual development (perhaps a la China), before any reunification, as far as I know.... tb@bwtfdik.com
