Uranium Power Corporation: Deep Drilling Program Progress Report Athabasca Oil Prospect, Fort McMurray Alberta
CALGARY, Alberta, Canada--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 30, 2002--Uranium Power Corporation (OTCBB:URMP)(DAX:URP) Doug Cannaday, President, is pleased to report that as of 8:00am Mountain Time on December 30, 2002, drilling at the AOC 7-32-98-10 well is proceeding on schedule at 2115 meters with a penetration rate of 3.5 meters per hour.
Warren Hunt, consulting geologist, notes "The continuous gas shows over the last 110 meters, the increasing presence of quartz sandstone and a high gravity oil show in the drilling mud as reported by William Ghazar, well site geologist, indicates that the company may be nearing the primary target".
