It's too simple to say there are only two choices:

Simpleton I am, I can only think of two options. O woe is me. But then there is always someone around to correct me. Never fear.

Of course, there are more than two options. If you wish to think seriously, there are almost an infinite number. But they are bordered, best I can tell, at their extremes by a two state solution with what you call an "attitude," on the one hand and something like ethnic cleansing at the other.

And when answering about whether the Arabs will ever sign or stand by a peace agreement, we have to talk about who could even sit at a table and hope to deliver such a peace.

Given the present dynamics of Israeli politics, moving toward its extremes, much the same can be said there.
