Do your own research. I already have. Searches for any of these key words will give you reams of evidence. I note Bush's lying to the press about his relationship with Ken Lay when that scandal broke. He had the nerve to say he hadn't spoken to Lay in a year and knew him because he was an Anne Richards man and Bush "let" him remain on an advisory board. Evidence shows the Bush-Lay connection is about as close as a politicians and businessman can get. In fact Bush was considering and may have even offered Lay Secretary of Treasury. Enron gave a whole long list of suggestions for the new Bush White House, who to appoint, etc. and many of those suggestions were approved. Enron gave a lot more than the declared 1.5 million to Bush-Cheney. They hired people like Ralph Reed, political operatives posing as energy consultants (though Reed knows nothing about energy) to help Bush. They let him use their private jets. They spent 100 million on politicians and lobbyists in three years prior to 2001 and the majority of it went directly to Bushies.
