Kerry will counter it. He has the expertise and credibility to do so. Unlike other Democratic leaders, when Kerry talks about military and counter-terrorism, both sides listen. He has become the watch-dog of the Senate in terms of calling Bush on his schemes, like the boy who saw the Emperor had no clothes. Kerry will run to the right of Bush on counter-terrorism, but will never get us into an unnecessary war.
