Hope you feel better soon!

Here's an Aussie home remedy for you to try:

Cold and Flu Recipe
Chef: Steve Altham
Not a chef - just a cooking dad!

With Danielle sick with the flu, this recipe seemed required!

Degree of difficulty: Low

You need:
2 large cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon honey
1.5 cups of water
juice of 1 lemon

Method:
Bring water to the boil. Crush the garlic with the side of chopping knife and add to the water, boil for 5 minutes. Add the honey and lemon juice, boil for 1 more minute. Serve it up and drink it while it's warm. A garnish of pseudoephedrine is an optional extra. If you have a partner, make enough for two and share it around, otherwise you may be made to suffer on your own.

A listener called to say that adding powdered ginger then srinkling the mixture with cayenne pepper helps give an extra kick!
