I don't see even the most basic rudiments of a plan.

I just can't get a handle on this objection, Steven. I see it posted by a lot of people, and I don't understand it. What kind of "Central Planning" for a Democracy do we need? We have got the dissidents together for conferences on how to run the country when we take it over. We are going to be dealing with three factions when we do get to that point, and it is way to early to know how that is going to play out.

We obviously have a good handle the Kurds. The Shiites in the south are going to have their Tribal Leaders ready to deal with us, and the Sunnis in the middle will be in for a major shakeup. We do not know how this takeover is going to play out. When we get there we will deal with it. I really don't know what else you would have us do.

I do notice that a lot of the same people, (not you) who object to our Iraq Invasion object to the things we are doing. I see this issue is a "Smoke Screen" put up by people who don't want us to do anything in Iraq.
