bobby, there has been more insider buying in tech than in the last 10 years. This is insider buying I am talking about only, in tech stocks only. You cannot compare insider buying vs. insider selling and assume there should be parity, especially in tech in this bear where pretty much everyone is being asked to forego cash for stock.

I'm not disputing Burke's assertions other than his insider buying claims. I don't see much insider buying in retail for example, for good reason. The NYSE is not undervalued relative to potential whereas many feel that tech is (in the industry I mean, not the investing public). It is a bifurcated mkt. Since he didn't break out tech vs. other he was just talking generalities.

Tech insiders have been buying for 2 years now and most have lost their shirts. At least in one case somebody had to sell a ton to pay off a corp loan (BEAS) and he sold at an intermediate low. So I have ignored tech insider buying as a bullish indicator for now. I just want to point out that its a little more complicated than Burke mentioned, although I'm sure he knows that he just didn't have enough time in the interview to go into details.

if you ask me none of this sentiment stuff matters though until this war issue gets resolved, the mkt will trend down on low volume.... so I agree with the bearishness... for now. I really hope things improve after the war though because this kindof sucks!
