The power of the polluting energy business is behind Bush. Including the Saudis. That's how they could arrange for a phonjy energy crisis during the election. If you dont believe me, consider Enron the engineer of the trading scams. They spent 100 million on politicians and lobbyists from 1998-2001, the vast majority of it to Bushies. for instance they paid Ed Gillespie a noted GOP dirty tricks lobbyist and operative $600,000 to spend $5,000,000 in TV ads during the energy crisis to blame it on democrats and deflect the true blame. Meanwhile they and the other energy companies loyal to Bush-cheney ripped off Americans for 50-100 billion bucks. And the Saudis probably went along. After all they owed Bush Sr and cheney for the Gulf War and why not make windfall profits and get their boy in office? Further evidence is that the so-called energy crisis ended the week Jeffords switched parties. Why? Subpeona powers of the Dems. All of a sudden there was an energy glut and Cheney had been saying they were running at full capacity and we needed 1300 new power plants, many of which Halliburton would build. corruption? You bet. The highest level type corruption. And the theft of an election.
